I have made some modifications and updates to my weblog. They are not really anything to write home about, but probably worth a quick e-mail or telephone call home.
A page listing every post
That’s right – every single blessed post that I have ever written on this blog complete with the numbers of comments there have been on each. Hours of fun.
A blogroll, of sorts
It is down there on the left hand side at the bottom. At the moment it is just a list of the sites I follow using the Bloglines site, which actually might include some that I read for practical purposes rather than because they are interesting. It also does not include, for instance, most of the Wibloggers I’d like to link to as I follow their updates through the ‘new updates’ section on the Wibsite front page rather than using Bloglines. It also has underlining which is annoying but I can’t seem to get rid of it.
The list of categories has the number of entries each contains
That is in the left hand column too. You can now see that I am very regularly conducting ‘in-depth analysis‘, but when it comes to ‘slacking‘ I am quite… slack.
Headings on the category pages
If you go and look at a blog category page, say ‘Essex Life‘, you will notice that it now tells you at the top which category you are in. This is useful because people surf in via search engines and do not really know where they are and what is going on.
The blog now makes you a cup of tea
You need to click the buttons in the right order. And holler down the stairs, ‘Eh up – anybody making a brew?‘
Sorry, I will stop now. I am getting boring.
