  • Thanks again to all the people who have been buying ‘The Dave Walker Guide to the Church’. I’ve made some updates to the main book info page following the reprinting – apparently when a book is reprinted a new ISBN number is assigned, which unfortunately means that lots of web links suddenly become broken as book sites often use the ISBN number in the page address. The new ISBN number is 9781853117794 and the new page on the SCM-Canterbury Press site is here.

  • The Good Bookstall have posted an encouraging review. They say it is a good book for coffee tables and I would agree with this assessment, although we don’t actually have a coffee table as I would trip over it all the time.

  • Inspire magazine will be giving away copies of the book in their February magazine – their website is here but it doesn’t say anything about the giveaway as it isn’t February. Perhaps I’m not supposed to say anything about this yet.

  • Wesley Owen have been in touch to say that the book has been selling well in their shops, particularly in Macclesfield. People of Macclesfield – thank you!

  • Church House bookshop sent an enthusiastic e-mail – their Westminster shop is closed until Monday for refurbishment but you can order the book online still. I am pleased to have their endorsement as they are the official Church of England bookshop – the one linked to from the Church of England website. I don’t know, but I suspect that Archbishops click through to the Church House bookshop whilst on their coffee breaks.

See all posts about the book. Warning: They do go on a bit.
