Cross Rhythms and their great surplus

Good Friday isn’t really the day for a cartoon, so I’m not posting one. It is nothing to do with the fact I have none to post.
Instead, here is a minor and sundry conundrum. Cross Rhythms, the Christian radio people who used to produce a magazine about gospel music but now don’t have got hundreds if not billions of old magazines to do something with. What should they do with them? If anyone is interested there are details below the fold. I can pass them on to the man who is in charge of the surplus.
Oh, they are in Stoke on Trent. Lovely place for a day out I’m sure, what with the… um… potteries… and things.
We’re having a clear-out at Cross Rhythms. We have half a room full
of back issues of Cross Rhythms magazine that are the leftovers from
the ones sent for retail distribution. We don’t need to keep them,
but we do need the space! So we’re giving them away.
We can’t guarantee what is or is not available – some issues sold out
completely, and others we’ve got enough spare to wallpaper the office
with, so it’s a bit random. Most of them come with a cover CD (or
cassette on the older editions), so it’s more than just paper – but
that’s also partly why we need to get rid of them, as we can’t easily
recycle them and the extra bits increase the weight and bulk! Any
that we don’t manage to give away will, therefore, simply be binned.
So, if anyone wants any, you can have them for nothing. In fact, we’d
love it if someone was to take them off our hands. Anything from a
few mags, or a box, or a van load – the more the merrier! The only
proviso is that you’ll need to either collect them or find some way
of paying to get them posted/couriered to you – we’re giving the mags
away, but we’re not giving postage away to go with them 🙂
If anyone’s interested, let me know.
