I need to borrow a ladder and the blog seemed like the natural location to place the advertisement. I need to unclog the guttering ere the winter storms begin. In return I am willing to loan the kind lender one or more of the following items from my box of tools:

• Trusty pliers. These have not let me down over many a year
• Screwdriver with both kinds of ends
• Saw (B&Q ‘Value’ model)
