Over the year quite a few ex and current students have popped in every now and then to say hello, which has been nice. Moorlands now has a new website, which makes it look more idyllic than ever. It is fairly idyllic actually, being on the edge of the New Forest.
Maddie_C and I actually popped into the college grounds as we were in the area over the summer and I thought she might like to see it. We went to the reception, only to find that it is no longer the reception, and so we wandered over to the new reception, which was closed. Unfortunately we must have looked a bit shifty, as we were accosted by the chef, who told us in no uncertain terms that ex-students are not welcome. So we left, the encounter having left a slightly sour taste (metaphorically). I can understand that security needs to be an issue during the holidays, but one might have thought that the route from the car park to the reception would be a valid one for visitors to take.
