  1. My umbrella is a Yellow Submarine, it come over my shoulders a bit, just like the see through ones, but it isn’t see through all over, because it is yellow. But it has a spy hole level with my eyes so I can see where I am going. And it has a pretend periscope. Wish it was a real one. I love it, so do my friends. Most of them anyway.

  2. This is ace and highly topical given the weather (at least where I am). I have given up on umbrellas as I always lose them, but they do retain a certain charm, which you capture very well.

  3. Here, despite the drought, we do need umbrellas sometimes, but where I live it is too windy to use them. I tried but veered off course badly and ended up in the middle of the street like a sailboat among ocean vessels… Umbrellas make good sunshades. My baseball team gave away white ones with baseball stitching on them – very fun. Could do that for tennis and cricket I suppose.

  4. My favorite umbrella had a colorful map of the world on it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t too sturdy. Sigh.
