I’m very happy to be able to announce that my new book, Revenge of the Flower Arrangers, has now been published by Canterbury Press. OK, so the official publication date is 30 September, but it is listed as ‘available’ on the Church House Bookshop site, so can be ordered straight away. Books bought elsewhere should be sent out early next week.
The book is the seventh collection of my cartoons from the Church Times, and contains diagrams on all kinds of topics:
- Instructions for releasing a balloon from the church rafters
- Geological phenomena observed in church
- Ecclesiastical uses for drones
- Various adversaries faced by the clergy
- Brilliant outreach ideas
…and quite a bit more. Revenge of the Flower Arrangers is, like How to Avoid the Peace, in a landscape format, which makes for easier reading, and will lean comfortably on most leading designs of pew ledge.
It’s brilliant to have another book out. Thank you to the Church Times for printing my work every week, for Canterbury Press for producing another great volume, and to everyone who helps me with ideas and / or moral support during the not-always-straightforward drawing process.
A small selection of cartoons from the book will appear on my CartoonChurch.com site in due course, but buying a copy of Revenge of the Flower Arrangers is by far the best way to read them, and the only place to find them all. I hope you enjoy it!
