1. I hope there’s a long zipper and the chaplain doesn’t have to cope with so many fiddly buttons. The zipper will break of course, they always do.

2. He has nearly as much stuff as I have in my handbag. Perhaps I should wear a cassock.

3. Mmm…. my winter coat is baggy, could add some inside pockets. Good idea …no one wants to carry a purse or totebag.
