Brand new cartoon: The Sale. Drawn this evening as part of the ‘Draw more cartoons’ drive.

At this point I should slightly awkwardly mention that there is one sale that is well worth investigating. Church House Bookshop are holding their sale, and amongst the ecclesiastical bargains you will find a very small number of my calendars, which are going at half price. There aren’t many copies though – we’re talking tens not hundreds, so get in there quickly if you still want one. Also on offer: the book I illustrated, ‘What am I doing here’, for £1.   1. I am an unusual size, so I like it when shops have lots of unusual sizes left. Especially if they are in colours which are considered to be unattractive by other people. But not mustard or mud or glurgy colours; a nice bright orange, or perhaps a lovely lime green. it is late. I am rambling,

  2. I like patterned jackets too, I have a lovely orange one with bright blue butterflies, made in my sewing room of course.
