welcomers

Today’s cartoon du jour was chosen because people on Twitter were talking about it, having seen it at a conference. You can find it on my church cartoons site, CartoonChurch.com, here. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I had to spend a lot more time than planned in a car park because the parking machine, which charges 90p, would not accept four 20p pieces and one 10p piece no matter how many times I put them in. Meanwhile people who, unlike me, did not have the correct money, put in their £1 coins, and merrily went forth having received their parking ticket. I share this anecdote only to add a second paragraph to this blog post.

  1. I too enjoyed the second paragraph very much, I have it when that happens.

Indeed second paragraphs are a nice idea, so I have decided to write one. I have been retreating in the depths of snowy Derbyshire all weekend, talking, praying and meditating, with lovely people, and good food. So feeling quite chilled now, and very tired, because the talking tended to go on until the early hours.
