Washing machines and rich tea biscuits

I saw on the television that in China one can flick a switch on ones washing machine to allow it to wash vegetables. They’ll be here before too long apparently. I think perhaps there might be a lot of money to be made thinking up new household appliances that can undertake several tasks – feel free to suggest any in the comments, though of course I reserve the right to steal your idea and make my millions.
